Versatile & Robust: Custom Roller Blinds for Every Coventry Home

Roller blinds are the workhorse of the blind world — practical, versatile, and when they’re made properly and fitted well, they look great too.
We’ve been supplying and fitting roller blinds across Coventry for over 30 years. It’s one of our most popular services, and the reason customers keep coming back (and recommending us to friends) is simple: we get the details right.
The right fabric for each room
Not all roller blinds are the same, and the fabric you choose matters enormously. We’ll help you find the right one for your window and how you use the room.
Blackout fabrics are our most popular choice for bedrooms. Our blackout roller blinds eliminate light bleed, giving you a proper night’s sleep even in summer.
Waterproof and moisture-resistant fabrics are designed for kitchens and bathrooms. They wipe clean easily and won’t absorb steam or odours.
Dim-out and translucent fabrics let through soft, diffused light. Great for living rooms where you want natural light without harsh glare.
Thermal fabrics have a reflective backing that helps retain heat in winter and reduce heat gain in summer — a practical choice for rooms facing south or west.
Mechanisms that work properly
One of the most common complaints we hear about roller blinds is that they jam, roll unevenly, or snap after a year or two. The usual cause is a cheap chain mechanism or a tube that isn’t strong enough for the width of the blind.
We use robust aluminium tubes that don’t bow or flex, and quality clutch mechanisms that operate smoothly and stop exactly where you want them. It’s a meaningful difference in day-to-day use.
Finishing touches
Standard roller blinds are functional. A few additional choices can make them look genuinely impressive:
A cassette or fascia hides the rolled fabric and mechanism inside an aluminium box, giving the blind a clean, architectural finish.
Decorative bottom edges — scalloped, shaped, or trimmed — add a personal touch that makes the blind feel more like a design feature.
Upgraded pull options — chrome, nickel, or weighted — elevate the feel of the blind and are more durable than standard plastic.
Perfect Fit roller blinds
For uPVC windows, we can fit roller blinds in our Perfect Fit system — the blind clips directly into the window frame with no drilling and no cords. It’s a very tidy solution, especially for windows in neat modern kitchens or conservatories.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can roller blinds be motorised?
Yes — it’s a popular upgrade, especially for wide windows or conservatories. We supply and fit battery-operated and mains-wired motors.
What’s the difference between blackout and dim-out?
Blackout fabrics block virtually all light. Dim-out fabrics significantly reduce light but allow a soft glow through. Dim-out is better where you want privacy without making the room feel dark during the day.
How wide can a roller blind be?
We can fit single roller blinds up to around 3 metres wide, and for wider windows we can install two blinds that meet in the middle.
Are they easy to clean?
Most roller blind fabrics can be wiped with a damp cloth. We’ll advise on the specific care for whichever fabric you choose.
