Getting the lining right

The lining is just as important as the face fabric. Here’s what each option does:

Standard lining protects the face fabric from UV damage, helps the blind hang well, and gives a neat, uniform appearance from the street.

Blackout lining is the right choice for bedrooms and nurseries where you need to block light completely. It doesn’t change the look of the fabric from inside but makes a significant difference to how dark the room gets.

Thermal lining adds an insulating layer to the blind — particularly useful in rooms with older, draughtier windows, or south-facing rooms that get hot in summer.
